Yoga

Episode 43: Sigi Kolbe

I am so happy to welcome Sigi to the podcast this week. We discovered that I have probably been following her since she first started doing the same yoga challenges that I did. It was a different time back then. Not only is she a yoga teacher, she’s photographer and very talented photoshop artist as well. Her photos in the dunes are so gorgeous and some times her dogs and cat Romeo join her. She is a mother of two and they built her studio right on their property.

We also spoke about teaching online as the world is in quarantine and the implications of that in a country where so many live below the poverty line before the pandemic. She is as lovely as she is creative and her accent is enchanting.

Enjoy.

Episode 42: Marina Chupac

Joining me today is Marina, a lawyer, a yogi, a self professed hippie as well as a skateboarder. She and her partner partnered up to create Zupac Law. Marina talks about what she wants to do with both yoga and the law practice together. The law firm is upstairs and the yoga studio is down stairs and not only do they offer regular yoga classes, but they host events as well in the space. In addition to that they have a mobile law office and they go out into the community to help people and work to demystify the work they do. Marina has a practice of manifesting not only her clients, but also the supporting staff that she works with.

Episode 32: Leigh Coates

This was quite an interview! It took some work to get it scheduled but I never gave up because I so wanted to have this conversation and share her amazing story. She took flying lessons at 15, quite flying to become a pro snowboarder, went back to flying after an injury and went from flying small planes to helicopters and also teaching others to fly. She now owns her own helicopter business in Alaska and takes the winters to travel the US and practice yoga along the way. The big thing now is that she is the first female jet pack pilot. Her story is so inspiring and I hope that you enjoy it as much as we did having the conversation. As always, thank you for listening!
